Our head office operates from a 3/4 acre site purchased in 1994. The new premises were purpose built by us and we have been in full occupation since January 1996. The building is home to 29 members of staff and has parking for 35 vehicles.
In 2001 we purchased a 1/2 acre site in Wellington from where our South West region operates. This was followed in 2006 by an office in Newport for our Wales region.
Outside of the office buildings we have our own storage yards, allowing us to maintain not only secure facilities for our equipment, but also allowing us to maintain a stock of materials at hand to ensure no job ever slows down because of missed deliveries. In addition we keep our own fuel tanks and reserve items of plant, equipment and vehicles, in case of breakdown or urgent requirement.
We are proud of our workshop facilities which allow us to maintain, service and repair our plant and vehicles at our convenience. Servicing is carried out on a regular schedule making sure that breakdowns are kept to a minimum, maintaining production on site at a maximum level. Due to the size of our fleet, we maintain stockholdings of spares and are usually able to have an item working quicker than even the manufacturers.
As part of our ongoing investment program we renew and improve our facilities to make our company self sufficient and technically efficient. We have a state of the art computer system, which allows our Surveyors and Contract Managers to remotely access their files at any time. Our office communications allow us to e-mail colleagues, customers and suppliers, helping us to respond and react quickly.
